Website & Booking Terms
Last updated: 10 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of the NLVentureDesk website, our online eligibility tools, our downloadable resources, and bookings and purchases made through the website. Services delivered under a separately signed proposal or service agreement — including our Full Facilitation Program — are governed by that document, which prevails over these Terms for that engagement.
1. Who operates this website
This website and its online bookings are operated by:
HR Hands B.V., trading as NLVentureDesk
Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 73598038
Rietwijkerstraat 42-3, 1059 XB Amsterdam, Netherlands
Contact: [email protected]
In these Terms, "NLVentureDesk", "we", "our" and "us" mean HR Hands B.V.
2. Scope and the priority of signed agreements
These Terms govern use of the NLVentureDesk website, online eligibility tools, downloadable resources and bookings made through the website. Services governed by a separately signed proposal or service agreement are subject to that document. If there is a conflict, the signed service agreement prevails for that engagement. Nothing on this website overrides or amends a signed agreement.
3. General information — not legal, tax or accounting advice
Information on this website is general in nature. It is not legal, tax, accounting or immigration advice, and it does not create any adviser-client or facilitator relationship. Eligibility results are preliminary. Government rules, requirements and fees change, and outcomes depend on your individual circumstances. You should not rely on website information in place of a personalised assessment.
4. Eligibility-tool disclaimer
Our online eligibility check provides a preliminary, rules-based indication only. It is not an immigration decision, not a guarantee of eligibility, and not a substitute for professional assessment. We do not use it to make any solely automated decision about you. A human assessment is required before we accept a client or recommend a route.
5. Services we currently offer
Through this website we currently offer:
- Strategy Session — a paid one-to-one assessment of your founder profile and Startup Visa route.
- Startup Readiness Program — coaching to develop your innovation narrative and business plan.
- Full Facilitation Program — comprehensive guided support from application preparation through landing and the startup year.
- Optional provider coordination — introductions to and coordination with external providers where relevant.
- Events, resources and newsletters.
NLVentureDesk intends to act as your Startup Visa facilitator, subject to assessment of its suitability by the IND and RVO. Where that is not available or appropriate, we may instead coordinate with a separately recognised facilitator. The precise scope, milestones and payment terms of any engagement are set out in an order confirmation, proposal or signed agreement.
6. Booking and contract formation
When you book a Strategy Session or make another purchase through the website, a binding contract is formed when we confirm your booking or payment in writing (for example by email or an on-screen confirmation). We may decline or cancel a booking — for example where we cannot appropriately serve your matter — in which case we will refund any amount paid for that booking. You are responsible for providing accurate booking details.
7. Strategy Session: rescheduling, cancellation, credit and eligibility refund
- Rescheduling: you may reschedule using the link in your booking confirmation up to 24 hours before your session.
- Cancellation & no-show: if you do not attend, or cancel less than 24 hours before your session, the session fee may be retained. See section 8 for consumer withdrawal rights, which may also apply.
- Credit toward Full Facilitation: if you proceed to our Full Facilitation Program, the Strategy Session fee is credited toward that program, applied within 14 days of the start of the Full Facilitation engagement.
- Eligibility refund: the eligibility refund applies only where NLVentureDesk concludes, following the completed Strategy Session and based on complete and accurate information you have provided, that no reasonably viable Startup Visa route is available to you at that time. It does not apply where you fail to attend, withhold or misstate material information, or simply decide not to proceed.
8. Consumer withdrawal rights
If you purchase as a consumer (that is, acting for purposes outside your trade, business or profession), you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Where that right applies:
- we will provide the required pre-contract information;
- if you ask us to begin performing the service during the withdrawal period, you expressly request that we do so;
- your right of withdrawal may be reduced or lost once the service has been fully performed, where this is legally permitted and you have acknowledged it; and
- we will make a model withdrawal process available where required.
Where you contract as a business, statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
9. Prices, VAT and third-party costs
Our current fees are the Strategy Session (€199), the Startup Readiness Program (€1,997) and the Full Facilitation Program (€8,997). Prices are shown in euros (EUR). Any applicable VAT/BTW is confirmed on your invoice and, where relevant, at checkout; VAT treatment may differ for non-EU business customers. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, and we do not charge you without your authorisation. Government fees and the fees of external providers are separate from our fees and are your responsibility. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend the related service until it is resolved.
10. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate and complete information, and disclose material facts relevant to your matter;
- cooperate and respond to requests in a timely manner, and review documents before submission;
- not make, or ask us to make, any false or misleading submission to any authority;
- not use our services to circumvent immigration law;
- notify us promptly of any material change in your circumstances; and
- meet government fees and the terms of any contract you enter into with an external provider.
11. No guarantee of government, facilitator or provider outcomes
We cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome. In particular, we do not guarantee that NLVentureDesk will be accepted as a facilitator, or that the IND or RVO will reach any particular decision. We have no control over the decisions of embassies, consulates, municipalities, the KVK, banks or external providers. Any timelines we give are estimates, not deadlines, and external providers contract with you separately.
12. External providers
Where you work with an external provider (such as a lawyer, notary, accountant, bank or relocation provider), that provider contracts with you directly and is responsible for its own services, fees and advice. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, those separate arrangements.
13. Intellectual property and permitted use
The website content, downloadable checklists, templates and programme materials are owned by NLVentureDesk or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use them for your own personal or internal business purposes in connection with your Startup Visa matter. You may not redistribute, resell, publish or copy them for other purposes. Deliverables prepared specifically for you as a client are governed by your signed agreement.
14. Acceptable use
When using the website, you must not:
- scrape, harvest or use automated means to extract data;
- attempt to circumvent security or access controls;
- upload malware or harmful code;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- infringe the rights of any third party;
- use our forms to send spam; or
- misrepresent your eligibility or any document.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- the website and its information are provided "as is"; we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions you take based on general website information;
- for paid Strategy Sessions and other website purchases, our liability is limited to the fee you paid for the relevant service;
- for engagements under a signed service agreement, the liability provisions of that agreement apply;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; and
- nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional misconduct, or under mandatory consumer law.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend your access to the website, or decline or discontinue services, where we reasonably identify: fraud or abuse; sanctions or compliance concerns; false or misleading information; non-payment; material legal or reputational risk; or inappropriate conduct toward our staff or providers. Suspension or termination of website access is separate from termination of any signed engagement, which is governed by that agreement.
17. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our website or services, please email [email protected] with your name, contact details and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge your complaint, usually within five business days, and work with you in good faith to resolve it. This does not restrict any statutory rights you may have.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. Material changes affecting an existing paid booking will not alter the agreed terms for that booking unless permitted by law or expressly agreed. A posting on this website does not amend a signed service agreement.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, save that mandatory rules — including those that give a consumer the right to bring or defend proceedings in another forum — continue to apply.
