Version 2, 27 October 2026

1. Who sells to you

The DAFT guide is sold by Atlas Venture Services. Atlas Venture Services is a trade name of Magna Carta Services B.V. (statutory seat Amsterdam), Salland 1, 1948 RE Beverwijk, KvK 93670516, VAT NL866487931B01.

Email: [email protected]

The guide is offered on nlventuredesk.com. Our other services, such as application support and strategy sessions, are provided by HR Hands B.V. under its own terms.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you buy the DAFT guide. They also cover the Desk credit code that comes with it.

Desk is not open yet. We open it to the waitlist first. The Desk terms are published when Desk opens.

3. What you buy

A digital guide in PDF format about the DAFT application for self-employed US citizens. It includes a 19-item document checklist. You get it as a download.

If you get stuck on a step in the guide, you can email [email protected]. We point you in the right direction on the guide's steps.

4. Price

The DAFT guide costs €99 including VAT where applicable. You see the full amount before you pay.

5. The Desk credit

When you buy the guide, we email you a personal code worth €99 off Desk. The code is linked to your purchase. It has no cash value and you cannot transfer it. How to use it is set out in the Desk terms.

6. Payment

You pay through Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe shows the payment methods you can use. We never see or store your full card details.

Your purchase is complete once Stripe confirms your payment.

7. Delivery

Right after payment you go to a page with your download link. We also email you the link. You can download the guide again from that link.

If you do not receive your download, email [email protected].

8. Your right of withdrawal

The guide is digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium. At checkout you ask us to make the download available right away. You also confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal. Because of this, the right of withdrawal ends once the download is available to you. We confirm your request and your acknowledgement by email.

If you buy for your business, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.

9. Not legal advice

The guide gives general information. It is not legal advice or tax advice. It does not replace advice about your own situation.

We are not a law firm. The IND decides every application. We cannot influence that decision. We make no promise about the outcome of your application.

Rules and IND practice change. The guide shows the date it was last checked. Always check the current requirements on the IND website before you apply.

10. Your use of the guide

The guide is for your own personal use. Please do not share, copy or resell it.

11. Liability

If the guide does not work as described, you keep the rights the law gives you.

As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the guide. We are not liable for indirect damage. We are not liable for decisions, delays or requests by the IND or other authorities.

These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence. They do not limit any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

12. Privacy

Magna Carta Services B.V. is the controller for the personal data of your guide purchase. This covers your name and email address. It also covers your billing address and payment details. We use them to deliver the guide and send your Desk credit code. We also keep them for our records and tax duties. Stripe processes your payment. Questions about your data go to [email protected].

13. Questions and complaints

Email [email protected]. We read every email and reply within one working day.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applied when you bought is the one that counts for that purchase.

15. Language and law

These terms are in English only.

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam.

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. You may also take a dispute to the court where you live.
